		<description>FAST is not a bad search engine if can afford to employ a nurse or two to look after it. Now Microsoft will have to rewrite everything in dot net, because it would otherwise be too embarrassing. They target FAST as the search engine for intranet and internet, behind and outside the firewall as they say. What you have to understand is, that for Microsoft &quot;behind the firewall&quot; is synonymous with SharePoint. They have heard about other products containing documents, but they will likely not care. And what is outside the firewall. Hmm, I bet they think its SharePoint too.

So, as long as there is content independent of SharePoint, there is room for other search engines.</description>
